Man charged after police discover 131 marijuana plants

One South Carolina man was taken into police custody and charged on July 16 after 131 marijuana plants were seized in Rock Hill. According to the report, the plants were first discovered on July 15 when a hunter contacted York County Sheriff's Deputies about marijuana plants.

Woman faces DUI charges after crashing car

Authorities have reportedly charged a 23-year-old South Carolina woman with driving under the influence following an incident in Spartanburg. Sources allege that the woman had a blood-alcohol content of .17 percent when she was taken into custody, which is well over the legal limit of .08 percent.
